Winners - PP210 - Jaydee's Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone.  Jaydee here.  You guys rocked the sketch challenge this week.  There were so many fabulous ideas. As always, you made it very difficult to choose our winners again this week!   Before we get to our headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the design team:

Christy's puffin card attracted me right from the minute I saw it!   I love the background stamping, the beautifully colored puffin image and the dark mat she used to help draw the eye immediately to the puffin and the sentiment.  The darker button with the orange baker's twine ties the sentiment together and anchors it.   A totally fabulous card!  Congratulations on being my HEADLINER this week, Christy.

I loved Judi's xylophone card...what child hasn't learned his first musical notes while playing on one of these!!  The simple layout makes this card easy to reproduce, and the bright colors make it fun and festive!  What a creative idea!  Congrats, Judi, for being my Headliner this week!

Paper Players Challenge #209-LeAnne's CAS Challenge

Hi everyone!  LeAnne here with our next challenge!  Today is my wee granddaughter Cassidy's birthday--but she's not so "wee" anymore!  She's four today!  Where has the time gone?  In honor of her birthday, my challenge is for you to make a CLEAN & SIMPLE child's birthday card!  Clean & simple means limiting your layers and embellishments......nothing overly fussy for those wee ones' birthdays!  Get those stamps inky and punches punching!  Can't wait to see what you create!

Winners for Challenge PP208: Nance's Color Challenge

There is no doubt that many of you found this week's colors...challenging!  We enjoyed reading some of your "colorful" expressions of the creative journey that led to the beautiful cards we saw in the gallery.  Most of all I, Nance, loved hearing how you thought about color in a different way and were, yourself, so happy with the end result.  I would love to declare all of you winners for trying something new (proud grin, here!) but choose we must...before we see who this week's Headliner is, let's take a look at what caught the eye of the Design Team!
And Nance's choice for Headliner is.......

You know how when you see some cards you loudly exclaim "Oh", your jaw drops and your nearby family or co-workers look at you funny?  Or, you let out a little squeal of delight?  That's exactly what I did when I saw Jen's gorgeous card!  I am amazed how she managed to use all four colors and still have all that beautiful white space.  The colors are perfectly balanced while the gray background stamping brings in the color but doesn't overwhelm the beauty of the other three.  Simply stunning!  So, for embracing these out-of-the-box colors my headliner is Jen Mitchell!  Congratulations, Jen--you, and your card, rock!

Paper Players Challenge #208 - A Color Challenge from Nance

Hi Paper Player friends, Nance here and I am delighted you stopped by today!  A big button thank you to everyone who played along in Sandy's theme challenge last week.  So many wonderful creations!  This week I am so excited to bring you a fresh and modern color challenge.  If you don't have these exact colors, just use a close substitute.  We want you to have fun creating!
